Dairy Allergy....Who?!? Me!
Mommy has been experimenting with dairy again since Thanksgiving. We thought we were in the clear, however, Mailande's poor little body is beginning to revolt. We are once again, dairy free.

Happy Holidays
Its December and we are all getting excited about the holidays. Today Mailande got to go shopping for her very first Christmas tree. We are setting it up today and looking forward to a very Merry Christmas with our families.
In other news (and a shameless plug), Mommy has officially started McKeeby Photography. Things have been up and running since Thanksgiving and my December calendar is already quickly filling up. We are all so impressed with the success we are seeing in such early days and are so thankful for everyone's support (especially daddy's, who has been a big help while mom is out on shoots or home processing pictures and Mailande, who is always such a great practice model).

Hanging with mommy
Mommy has a 4 day weekend because of Veteran's day and we are having so much fun together, shopping, playing outside, reading books, singing and dancing. I wish Mommy and Daddy had a 4 day weekend every week.

6 months
We went to Mailande's 6 month checkup the other day (a little late-more like 6 1/2 months) and we had another happy visit with the Doctor (until the shots came).
Height: 25 inches
Weight: 14lbs 13oz (much smaller than we expected)
Mailande is now considered to be in the 25th percentile for her weight. When did our little chunker become so small? While at the appointment, Mailande surprised us all by grabbing mommy's hands and pulling herself into a standing position. The Dr said that is an 8 month skill. Way to go little lady! When we got home, Mailande had a rough night, we assumed from the shots, but Tuesday night when Mom got home, she found one teeny tiny little tooth poking through her bottom gums. Prepare yourself....toothy pictures should be coming soon.
