Weekend Madness

Saturday we went to Mailande's 2nd wedding (in only two months) to see our friends Brittany and Dennis get married. We had a blast and Mailande was an angel.

On Sunday, Uncle Matt had us over to watch the World Cup and swim in his new pool. Mailande loved the water!!

Sweet Dreams

Last night Mailande slept through the night for the 1st time!

She went to bed at 10pm and woke up at 6am to eat. I brought her into our bed to wake up daddy, but instead we fell back asleep and everyone slept in until 8am.We are all feeling pretty happy (and well rested) today.

Busy week

This week, we went back to work for postplanning. I felt like a celebrity. All the teachers wanted to hold me. I was on my best behavior, so mom could get her work done and while she was busy Aunt Anne kept coming in the room to visit. I sure did enjoy spending most of the days walking around the school with her, but boy, was I tired after those 2 busy days.

Beach Baby

Grandpa Dorn bought Mailande the ultimate beach cruiser, so we took a stroll on the beach Saturday evening. Mailande napped on the first half and took in the scenery on the way back home. After a nap in the new stroller, Mommy took Mailande to test out the water. I think we have a little beach baby on our hands.

Big girls don't cry

A big smile to celebrate a big week. Mailande hit double digits this week, weighing in yesterday at 10lbs 3 oz. She also spent the last 2 nights sleeping in her own room. Last night she slept in her crib AND did it without a pacifier. She woke every 4 hours to eat, right on schedule.What a big bed for such a little baby.

Memorial Weekend

Mailande turned 6 weeks old this holiday weekend and went on a tour of Florida to celebrate. She was the perfect little car rider. Saturday we went to West Palm to see our good friends, Laura and Tyson, get married.While we were there Mailande got to spend a whole lot of time hanging out with Grandma McKeeby. In fact, we went back to Orlando on Sunday and she spent the whole weekend sneaking in as much snuggle time as possible.
While she's looking pretty serious in this picture, Mailande has been smiling at everyone who comes in eyesight of her. She is just the happiest little baby.
